this clown cake. The cupcakes were way more cute!!! What a bust! The cake took way more time, money etc. And the cupcakes were as simple as frosting and curling ribbon! What do you do.............

funiture refinishing 101......

I went through a phase about 2 years ago, where I was refinishing EVERYTHING. I slowly burned out I guess. But, lately with money (not to mention my pants) being tight I'm getting the itch to start up again!! Lucky for me I ran across these tips from Blue Cricket Design! Look for me in the paint aisle!

Creepy or Cute?

i did it!!....i made a craft!!

I got this cute little firecracker idea here from An Altered State of mind. I am so impressed that I actually had most of the stuff I needed! Guess where it was............yep the craft pile in the garage! I knew that crap would come in handy one day! Anyway I wrapped them up and took them to my neighbors.

FYI the blog it tells you to use a roll of LifeSavers, but I came to find that the rolls are extremely hard to find now!! They mostly sell the candy in the bags wrapped individually . Luckily, breath savers still uses the roll format.
