cake mix cookies {so easy!}

I needed cookies this morning........fast.

There were two problems with this:
1) I am out of white flower
2) I had 45 minutes

Then, I had an Oprah "Aha moment"
ok, so it wasn't an "Aha moment" it was more like an
"Oh My Gosh.......didn't I get some Cake Mix cookies from my neighbor one day?
.....I actually HAVE a cake mix!"

That has GOT TO be easy! So I dash to the computer and what do you know, there are
hundreds of variations of the cake mix cookie. This is the one I used. They were soft, rich, sweet and most importantly SO EASY!!!
1 package any cake mix
1/2 cup butter softened
1 egg
Combine all ingredients at low speed until thoroughly moistened. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart on un-greased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 for 9 - 12 minutes. {I did mine for 10).Cool 2 minutes, remove from pans.
If desired:
Add 1 cup of chocolate chips 0r 1/2 cup chopped nuts
Frost them, sandwich them, sprinkle them.....whatever!
Sound Easy Enough? Trust me, it is!
Here is where I found the recipe and all the different variations.
